COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGIST
Nigel Skeates is a Counselling Psychologist with many years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families at Connect Psychology. Nigel has specific experience in working with couples as well as pre-teens and teenagers with neurodiversity or challenging behaviours, and with their parents. In addition, Nigel has an interest in male health and well-being, and particularly the role and importance of fathers.
Nigel provides a warm, supportive, personalised approach to client services. He supports clients dealing with a wide range of psychological areas, using evidence based therapies, including
- Adolescents & young adult life issues
- Depression
- Anxiety, stress
- Anger
- Addictions
- Trauma, Grief & loss
- Relationship & marital difficulties
- General life choice issues.
For NDIS clients – Nigel’s services can be provided to Self Managed, Plan Managed, and Agency Managed NDIS participants as a provider engaged by Jenni Pearce.
